This Privacy Policy describes how Aleinik Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles information when you visit aleiniklabs.com (the "Site") or subscribe to our communications. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the Site.

Information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

• Usage data — collected automatically via Google Analytics when you visit the Site. This includes pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location derived from your IP address. Your IP address is anonymised before storage.
• Email address — collected voluntarily when you subscribe to updates from Aleinik Labs. We do not collect any other personal information as part of the subscription process.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are analytics cookies only — we do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party marketing cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not affect your ability to read content on the Site, but will opt you out of analytics tracking.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics collects data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We have enabled IP anonymisation and do not share Analytics data with third parties.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Email subscription

If you subscribe to updates from Aleinik Labs, we store your email address for the sole purpose of sending you communications related to new Insights, announcements, and other content published under the Aleinik Labs brand. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us directly at [email protected]. We will remove your address promptly.

How we use your information

• To understand which content is useful and how the Site is used
• To send you communications you have explicitly opted into
• To diagnose technical issues and improve Site performance

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We do not retain any data beyond what is needed to operate the Site and our communications.

Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data

Third-party services

The Site relies on the following third-party services:

Data security

The Site is served over HTTPS. We do not store payment information or sensitive personal data. Email addresses collected via subscription are stored in a secured environment with access limited to the operator of Aleinik Labs.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
